The Chairside Cookbook

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Please read these terms before you buy. By completing the checkout, you agree to them.

1. Who you are buying from

Dental Guides Ltd, trading as Dental Kitchen, registered in England and Wales, company number 14227736, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

Contact: [email protected]

We refer to ourselves as "we" or "us", and to you as "you".

2. What you are buying

The Chairside Cookbook is an online course for dental professionals, delivered through our membership area. It includes video lessons, downloadable materials, and verifiable CPD, subject to completing the quiz at the end of the course.

What comes with your place depends on when you buy. The page you bought from sets this out, and the confirmation email records what you bought.

  • Pre-order, until 23:59 on 4 November 2026: the course, lifetime access, a second seat for your nurse, a seat at the live clinic on 17 November 2026, founding member status, Loom School, the podcast version of the course, and the 90-day accountability group.
  • 5 November to 2 December 2026: the course, one year's access, or lifetime access if you add it at the checkout for £199, the recording of the live clinic, Loom School, the podcast version of the course, and the 90-day accountability group.
  • From 3 December 2026: the course, one year's access, or lifetime access if you add it at the checkout for £199, the recording of the live clinic, and the 90-day accountability group.

Loom School, the podcast version of the course, the 90-day accountability group and the live clinic are provided through the Protrusive Guidance app by Protrusive Dental Limited.

3. When you get access

You will receive your login details when you pay.

If you bought before Thursday 5 November 2026, the course content unlocked on that date. If you buy on or after it, the content is available straight away.

Anything provided by Protrusive Dental Limited is made available through the Protrusive Guidance app, and Protrusive will contact you separately with access.

4. How long access lasts

  • Lifetime access means for as long as the course continues to be offered and Dental Guides Ltd continues to trade. It is not a guarantee of any particular period. If we withdraw the course, we will give you reasonable notice so you can download the materials you are entitled to keep. The downloadable materials are those marked for download; the video lessons are for viewing in the membership area only.
  • One year's access means 12 months from the date you buy. You can upgrade to lifetime access for £199 at the checkout, on the same terms as above. The upgrade is non-refundable once supply has begun, as set out in clause 6.
  • Loom School: one year from the date access is given.
  • A nurse's seat: one year from the date it is set up.
  • The 90-day accountability group: 90 days from the date access is given. Your access to the group ends on the last day, and it is not extended.

5. The fee, and how you pay

The fee is shown on the page you buy from. All prices include VAT where it applies.

You can pay in full, or in three monthly instalments. The instalment total is higher than paying in full, and both figures are shown before you pay. Instalments are taken automatically from the card you used.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

If an instalment fails, we will try again and contact you. If it is still unpaid 14 days after the failed payment, we may suspend your access until the balance is paid. Access is restored once payment is received. You remain liable for the full amount.

6. Your right to cancel

Pre-orders placed before 5 November 2026. You have 14 days from the date of purchase, or until the course unlocks on 5 November 2026, whichever is later, to cancel and receive a full refund. Email [email protected] within that period.

Everything else. The course is digital content, supplied as soon as you buy. When you tick the box at the checkout, you are agreeing to these terms, agreeing that supply begins immediately, and acknowledging that you lose your right to cancel once it has. After that, the fee is non-refundable.

The 21-Day Photography Challenge. Access is given immediately, so the same applies: by buying it you agree that supply begins at once and you lose the right to cancel. It is non-refundable.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights if what we provide is faulty, not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill.

7. Your nurse's seat

If your purchase includes a nurse's seat, it is a single seat for one named person aged 18 or over.

  • You give us their name and email address, and we set up their own login.
  • The seat cannot be transferred or swapped for someone else once it has been set up.
  • Your nurse's access lasts for one year from the date it is set up, whichever access option you bought.
  • Your nurse's access is not affected if we suspend or end yours, unless they were responsible for the reason we did.
  • By giving us their details, you confirm you may share them with us for this purpose. We will tell your nurse that you gave them to us.

8. The live clinic

The live clinic is scheduled for Tuesday 17 November 2026 at 7:30pm, on the Protrusive Guidance app.

If we have to move it, we will give you as much notice as we can and offer a new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you will receive the recording. A change of date is not grounds for a refund.

The clinic will be recorded, and the recording made available to buyers through the Protrusive Guidance app. If you attend, you may be visible or audible in that recording. If you would rather not be, you can keep your camera and microphone off and ask your questions in writing.

9. The 21-Day Photography Challenge

The 21-Day Photography Challenge is created and delivered by Protrusive Dental Limited, and is offered at the checkout. Where you buy it from us, your contract for it is with us, and we will deal with any questions about your purchase.

Access is provided through the Protrusive Guidance app.

10. Things provided by Protrusive Dental Limited

Loom School, the podcast version, the 90-day accountability group, the live clinic and the 21-Day Photography Challenge are provided through Protrusive Dental Limited.

If any of them becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer a reasonable alternative where one is available. We cannot promise that an alternative will always be possible, because these are not ours to provide. This does not affect your access to the Chairside Cookbook itself, and it does not affect your legal rights.

11. CPD

The Chairside Cookbook offers 10 hours of verifiable CPD. To claim it, you complete the course and pass the quiz at the end of it.

The CPD is verified and the certificate is issued by Protrusive Dental Limited, not by us. To do that, we share your name and your progress through the course with Protrusive Dental Limited.

It is your responsibility to check that the CPD meets the requirements of your own regulator and your personal development plan.

12. What you may and may not do with the material

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the course and its materials for your own professional development, and for the named nurse on your nurse's seat. It is for the two of you and nobody else.

You may: watch the lessons, download the materials provided for download, and print them for your own use.

You may not: share your login, give anyone else access, copy or republish the material, upload it anywhere, sell it, or use it to teach or train anyone else, whether paid or unpaid.

All content, including videos, documents and the Team Thesaurus, remains our property or that of our licensors. If you break this clause we may suspend or end your access without a refund, and take further action.

13. What the course is, and is not

The Chairside Cookbook is professional education about communication. It is not clinical advice, legal advice, financial advice or business advice, and it does not replace your own professional judgement or your obligations to your regulator.

We do not promise any particular result, including any level of case acceptance, income or growth. What you get out of it depends on how you use it.

You remain responsible for your own clinical decisions and for complying with the standards that apply to you.

14. If something goes wrong

We will provide the course with reasonable care and skill. If something is faulty or missing, tell us at [email protected] and we will put it right.

We are not liable for business losses, including lost profits, lost income or lost opportunity. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or end your access without a refund if:

  • you break clause 12, or
  • your payment remains unpaid, as set out in clause 5, or
  • you behave abusively towards our team, Protrusive Dental Limited's team or other members, and continue to do so after we have asked you to stop.

We will tell you why, and give you a chance to put things right first, unless the breach is serious enough that we cannot.

You can stop using the course at any time. Stopping does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in clause 6.

16. Changes

We may improve or update the course content over time. We may also change these terms for future purchases. The terms that apply to you are the ones published when you bought.

17. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, email [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint within three working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days.

18. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as illness, a platform or internet failure, or an act of a third party. If that happens, we will tell you as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to put it right, including rescheduling. This does not affect your legal rights.

19. Service messages

Some emails are part of the service rather than marketing: your receipt, your login details, joining links, and messages about your access. You will receive these whatever your marketing preferences.

20. Transferring this agreement

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another business, for example if we sell or reorganise ours. Your rights under these terms will not be affected. You may not transfer yours to anyone else.

21. If part of these terms cannot be enforced

If a court decides that any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest continues to apply.

22. Other people's rights

These terms are between you and us. Nobody else can enforce them.

23. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
